This is a long shot,

Does anyone have an old rally car that would pass tech for hire?(June 13,14th)

I'm not looking for a competitive car by any means, just something to drive through the stages and get a little insight as to what rallying is all about. I am currently building a rally car that isn't going to be completed untill late fall. Myself and co-driver would like to get a little seat time and experiance with stage notes because both of us can't wait untill fall to have this much FUN!

If there is a chance the car could last at least most of a day with carefull driving I would be intrested in renting it, like I said competitive results are not at all what were after. Id like to keep the costs below $500 u.s. and can put tires on the car if needed. We could work out a deposit on the body work as well. I won't be upset if the the car brakes down, I know its the nature of the game.

Thanks,
Culver

Chad,
A celica would be great, I am building a 76' sr5 2tg corolla so it should feel somewhat similar to what I'll be racing. Why aren't you driving it in June? When will you know if its for hire?

An opportunity missed no-doubt

I've already commited to a corolla and acquired parts cars so it might not be a good move at this point.

However I would be more than willing to give yavor's truck some more experience. I'm a better man today for driving a 2wd 84 toyota long box on icy Montana roads half my adult life.

Culver,

Well I'm in the buyers market for a front wheel drive car now. So if I find a car between then and now, my car is available.

I'm not sure if you have rallyed before, but if you haven't this would be a good car since its a similar setup to the corolla. Of course the corolla is going to handle better and be much quicker car.

I will let you know as soon as possible. I'll send you an email tonight or something to discuss it more.

Cheers,
