Well, I rolled my rally car at a rallycross last weekend and I think it's time for a parts car.

This may be a bit of a stretch but if anyone has a 91-96 2 door Ford Escort lying around or knows someone who has one they want to get rid of let me know. I'm opened to anything in any condition and the closer to wichita the better.

Maunz/Sackett team says they usually don't pay more than 500 bucks for a shell/car. Not sure if they are on here but I know they are in SC if that helps.

I have a 93 escort unfortunatly it has sit for several years. It is in great condition only bad thing is the tranny doesnt shift right i have put a newer tranny in it but it still is doing th same thing so i have to trannys for this vehicle the car is fully functional the motor did start up till this last summer i'm afraid the fuel system needs to be cleaned out but it was well takin care of untill the tranny started messing up after that it has just sit. call with any questions i will try to get some pictures on here but not to sure how soon i will be able to get to it. Must sell have to get it out of the back yard asking 700 obo dont think it will take much to get this going or it would make a great parts car lots and lots of good parts. give brad a call at 417-569-0831

I am trying to get rid of my 1993 Ford Escort, because I am getting a new car. Besides a broken engine the rest of the car is pretty much in good condition. The interior is intact besides speakers and a radio, and the STRUTS are 2 years old. Also the car has four brand new TIRES, new OUTER TIE RODS, and a brand new BATTERY. Price is negotiable. Get it while its still up for grabs.

If you are in need of basic transportation this will easily help you out. White, two door ford escort with moderate bumper damage; DRIVABLE with decent mileage (at least 20 in town) fuel gauge is broke, transmission slips, has lots of miles, needs battery in order to test drive or drive period, decent stereo, can come by and look at it - kickingbird hills apartments, turn east onto kickingbird/ayers rd from byrant rd and take third right into parking lot go straight and will see it sitting on the right beside a big tree, please email if interested, OBO

Did you debead? Doesn't look like the course was too rutty and it kinda looks like you were accelerating out of a turn which seems like an unlikely time to roll

Charles is going to scold me for not having welded my diff. I figure that I hit the ruts and got bouncing a little bit and once I was outside the ruts the inside tire came off the ground. Once that happened, all of the power went to the wheel in the air (open diff, cue Charles) and the wheel on the ground stopped turning and dug in sending the car the rest of the way over.

I don't know if a welded diff would have necessarily prevented the roll, other than the fact that you might have broken a driveshaft prior to rolling and thus would never have reached that point on the course

Well, what do you think, can you repair in time for SD'10? We'd love to see the PDE back in action in January.

Mine was more too much steering input, too much grip, and too high of a roll center.I lost it turning down on the banked oval at GP.

Chris, you betcha it's repairable. The main things are the doors, glass, and windshield frame. I'm looking for a whole car because it may be about as much or cheaper than all those things seperately but with the added bonus of all the suspension parts and whatever else I may randomly need.

I was trying to have my own truck for Sno*Drift '10 but when I called the guy last night he was like, "oh yeah, we sold that thing to somebody else just over an hour ago."
