Hi,

In preparation for getting the 2005 SCCA Rally Rulebook changes from Doug and Sue, I am trying to clean up some of the things that I didn't get to when I put together Revision B of the 2004 book. I was talking with Ben Bradley last night and he said that there were a bunch of misspellings and such in Article 13, the Awards History section.

I haven't been around long enough to know what errors might be in Article 13, so I am hoping some of you who have been could help me out. If you know of something that is wrong (missing info, misspellings, factual errors) in Article 13 of the printed 2004 Rally Rulebook or the online 2004 Rev B Rally Rulebook, could you please let me know, so I can fix it.

Thanks,

alan perry

I corrected the ones I knew about when I helped correct that section of the 2004 Rulebook. I THINK they're right now. Could be some I don't know about...

The folks who are misspelled or in the wrong spot should check out the online version to see if the corrections "took." You all know who you are.

Al,
I think you ned to do that yourself. There is a form at the courthouse to fill out for a legal name change. That way the spelling of your name on your driver's license will agree with the spelling in the rule book.:+

Oh, you mean you want to change the spelling in the rule book instead of every where else.

DANG! I knew your name was misspelled in that section, and I looked high and low for it. Never suspected the ALLAN part was wrong. Sorry about that.

Being an 'Alan', I knew to check for all of the various misspellings of 'my' name and already fixed Al's entry.

Here is what I am looking for now -
- 2003, 2001, 2000, 1998 ClubRally National Co-Driver Champions
- 2002 Division for Rick Hintz (I know what Division Dave is, but not Rick)
- 1994 ClubRally National Driver Champions
- 2003 hometown and division for Todd Moberly, Jim Cox and (G2 Focus-driving) Brian Scott
- 1996 SEDIV Driver/Co-Driver Champions
- 1998 SEDIV U2 and O4 class Co-Driver Champions
- 1996 hometown of RMDIV Co-Driver Rob Siedel
- 1994 Organizer of Twin Peaks Rally
- 2001 RE for Central New York region
- 2000 RE for Texas region
- 2003,2002,2001,2000 Divisional Driver and Co-Driver Champions (except NEDIV)

And the really scary one -
An update to the Lifetime Points

>the book is also missing NARC Group N

That's good to know. You wouldn't happen to have the info on who has won or, at least, what year they started awarding Group N champion, would you?

alan

BTW, I suspect that with the print lead time for the rulebook, the 2004 champions will not be in the book.

The year JB Niday is listed as winning Grp2 (2000??), he didn't: Bob Nielsen did with Brett Corneliusen in the right seat.

That's fixed in the online version...and I spelled Nielsen right.

>Well, you could add Divisional winners after 1999.....

I feel like a complete bonehead for missing this. If someone has a pointer to these results (aside from NEDIV, which Daphne provided me), I would appreciate it.

You should probably spell that WeiNman...

BB

P.S. [Edit] Kevin Poirier probably has the NorPac champions for the past few seasons.

Speaking of spelling names right...

It's Land O'Lakes Region, and while that's my Region, the RE was Doug Dill.

And it's NorPac DIVISION.

There is no longer such an award. It was replaced by GrN in 2001.
But if there was, I'd have won the 2002 Open class codriver's.

>- 2003 NARC Production Driver and Co-Driver

Vittorio Bares & Forest Fryberg

>- 2003 NARC Production GT Driver and Co-Driver

Julien & Marie-Eve Pilon

2001 No one qualified (which is why it should have been left an Open class award)

2002
Pat Richard (driver's) No one qualified as a codriver (again, which is why it should have been left an Open class award)

2003
Peter Thomson(driver's) No one qualified as a codriver (again, which is why it should have been left an Open class award)
