According to Autoweek a few weeks back, something to the effect of ...'Hyundai will probably let Buffum keep the Tiburons but that he wouldn't run unless proper funding could be found' was said. Any truth to this rumour Hyundai camp on the list? Also according to Jeff Becker the old Audi S2 that Thumper (Paul Choinere to you newer guys) and he ran, prior to switching to Hyundais in 1995, is still at the Libra shop. Either way it sure would be nice to have Paul back in the series in 2003. At later races like Ojibwe and LSPR he was doing a damn nice job of driving!

You can imagine that there might be a few drivers from overseas
who would like to come in and do an event or two. I suspect that
they would provide that service for the right price. But if they
could find a non-automotive sponsor, it would really push US
rallying into the future. I hope something pops up for them,
because I really like to watch those cars run, they are some of
the most trick cars ever to run here.

The truth of it is that JOHN is working a VERMONT SPORTS CAR. As I was told this morning. Last week when I was at LIBRA . John said that he was trying to hold on to the open cars.
