JEAN-GEORGE MARCOTTE NAMED CHIEF SCORER FOR SIX OF SEVEN EASTERN STATES RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP ROUNDS

Knoxville, TN ? Jean-George Marcotte has been named Chief Scorer for six of the seven rounds of the Eastern States Rally Championship. Marcotte, of Montreal, is the head of Rally Scoring Service, and is one of the most highly competent and respected scorers in all of North America.
Marcotte comes to the series with more than 20 years experience. He has scored well over 200 rallies, with long term commitments to many US and Canadian events. Rally Scoring Service?s accomplishments are recognized by most of North America?s largest events, including a 12 year stint with the Maine Forest Rally, 10 years with Le Rallye de Québec, 13 years with Le Rallye de Charlevoix, and the list goes on.
ESRC Series Coordinator Dr. Kendall Russell of Rally Promotions, LLC, expressed delight at the appointment of Marcotte, ?Jean-George is legendary within rally circles, and his system is one of the best, if not the best, that I have seen in use anywhere. We are very lucky to have him, especially in light of his busy schedule scoring events all over Canada and the U.S.?
Marcotte will serve as Chief Scorer to the Sandhills Sandblast, Rally Tennessee, Rally New York, the Cherokee Trails International Rally, Rally Alabama, and Rally West Virginia.
More information on Marcotte can be found at www.rallyscoring.com. More information on the ESRC can be found at www.nasarallysport.com.
