New Zealand!

Way cool roads, great people, and as a dumb 'merican, I wouldn't have to learn or deal with a different language.

Safari, even though its no longer part of the WRC (damn shame)

Because its the most insane!!!

Might take a while to get used to the heat though.

Then again the yumps in Finland look pretty fun.
And you can't beat a good sauna after a long drive!

>sidways....does it get better than that?

John:

Yes. Finland. Fast drivers. Fast roads. Fast women. Saunas. Olut. Am I right Topi?

>Any tarmac event. It's just so different than here...and
>bloody dam' fast! So, say, Corsica.

Jeremy, I think you're suffering from the grass is always greener, gravel and snow with decent studs is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay waaaaaaay more fun, tarmac is SCARY.
And traditionally I have seen winners overall aver speed at Tour de Corse at somewhere around 70 or so km/hr, and 100 meters a long straight.
Maybe with the right car say a good Gp4 Escort and the right tires, an Irish tarmac event might be fun.
But:
1000 Lakes, the stages and the surface, and the very friendly Finnish cuties (oh I wonder where Erja Hautala is doing today......)
Swedish, snow and speed, and studded tires.
Argentina, looks fun and I've never been there.

And Shenquan, PRC, Asia Pacific round, see a new place, see my new in-laws, scout business opportunities and eat the best Cantonese cooking in the world

It seems you feel the need to continually show off the fact that you can type in several languages, and kudos to you for having the ability, but if you have to keep your posts a secret from the majority of readers, email is a more polite solution!!!

Morgan:

To help you out, a very rough translation of John's message into english is: "Topi, you take the one on the left and I will take the one on the right". ;)

RE: Voy Vito Poiki!

Thanks Doug
I feel that if you are going to post something on a public forum, it is an invitation for anyone to be involved with that conversation. Writing to someone directly in another language turns it into a private conversation that cuts most people out of it and should have been done as a private email or through the private messaging system on.
This is not the first time this has happened either

Yo! Dude!

Morgan, Notice that this post is addressed to you, the other was addressed to Topi.Topi and I have known eachother for years, he's a Finn, and I lived in Stockholm in the seventies when I was an immigrant there, and we even had mutual friends/accaintences, Swedish is the second language for both of us.
It is only natural that we should speak to each other in the langueage we both have in common, especially when the subject is something as important as Sauna, drinking, naked girls and rally.

People do sometimes write directly back to each other here and if you don't like it let me try speaking some local Slumbverville so you may understand a bit better: .......................

There, is that better?

(That was supposed to indicate silence, as in ignoring you, I have tried to since it is clear there is little point in attempting _Di alogue_ with you, better to just ignore each other, OK?)

PS You could maybe try Babelfish and translate it if you wanted to know, but it was to Topi.

Aho ka, omae?

John, in case you did not understand the language, this is addressed to you
I am glad the two of you have such a wonderful friendship, but I don't see where it says "to Topi" and being on a forum it is an invitation for everyone to read it, not just Topi!

USE EMAIL IF YOU DON'T WANT US TO BE A PART OF YOUR CONVERSATION!!!! Otherwise it is just rude

Speaking Slumbverville? So you call insulting ones town an attempt at dialog?!

RE:Mr Morgan

_ I was hopping that this post would be fun? But you,ve turn it around to go after JV again!! If JV would say black, you will say white!! Do not get me wrong ,Thats OK just not here. "I" got things all up set a page or two back and me and M Samli got it worked out, and I got some good cooking tips from him "elk on the BBQ" In my USA class post YOU went after JV there too!!! This is getting real old!! Theres room for YOU and HIM!!! He wants to save the privateer and you want to get rally to go BIG TIME ,and there,s room for you two guys in the USA rally world. I would say??? NO?? DO YOU THINK THERE,S ROOM FOR JV, Morgan??? Yes or No??????????????????????????????

-I would say Morgan you,ve been to alot of places in this world. What rally would you run if you could???

-I hope Subegal and the other ladys are not upset about Topi,s pic it's all in fun. More then what language JV speaks to Topi in! Don't use "MY fun" post to kick JV!!!!!

-Someone post your rally you would run and we can go on! It,s nice to have a "fun" post from time to time!!!
