Hyundai pulled out of all US motorsports, not just GRC.

How many times is that now? They're constantly pulling out of US motorsports and then coming back. IIRC, Rhys's cars have been for sale before when Hyundai pulled the plug a few years back.

I don't think they supported him that well, I would think he's fairly privately funded. They helped build the cars a few years back, then the motorsports money kind of dried up for them. There are a few people looking at starting road race series using the off the floor turbo Velosters though. Only real problem, they keep popping engines even in stock form. A stock engine making 17psi from the factory with direct injection, guess they don't have the full formula for it yet.
