Mid 1980s - Teamed with Eric Marcus in the Domino's Pizza sponsored, Production Class Dodge Omni GLH that competed against the cars I built for Chrysler as the CMC Motorsports, Inc. Crew Chief.

If he had an involvement with a manufacturer then I don't know what entity that would have been. I only know he ran Dodges, probably because Chrysler made it easy to build and campaign their vehicles, paid contingencies and, like a lot of independent Dodge teams, got fed parts from a certain helpful factory-supported Crew Chief who was keen to see how deep the 'expense account' was (kidding). ;)

He attended the 100 Acre Wood Rally/CRNC and hung out with Sasha Lanz (the ClubRally Steward for that event) to get up to steward-speed and took over from MacArthur (who oversaw S*D) at Cherokee.

It is an appointed position that I believe the PRB fills. John MacArthur was the PRSS for the past several seasons, except at STPR. Jim Kloosterman was STPR event steward in 2001 since John MacArthur was tied up with orgtanizer duties.

I think 'coke' is a Buckeye (Ohio) and I can tell you that competing against him exposed no state of mind quirks we were able to exploit!

No worries. How can someone as relentlessly pleasant as me not try to help out when I can.

Tim Oneil has also been event steward many times. But he's driving now so not available.
