If I can find the tape, Gene, I have video of that car in action. I think at the ORV park.My first rally car was a 1970 Datsun 1600 roadster. We made a steel top for it and off to the races..well Olympus 1983 anyway.

Um..luv ya man but don't spend a bunch of time looking...If I can find the tape, Gene, I have video of that car in action. I think at the ORV park.
Would you rather I destroyed the evidence?Um..luv ya man but don't spend a bunch of time looking...![]()

this is a horribly bizarrely hopelessly incomplete list of a few car to have been raced in the wrc
If you have Netflix, there's a documentary about Eric Bana (yes the actor) rallying his '74 Falcon at Targa TasmaniaAt STPR around 1998 there was a display with a 1960's Ford Falcon that had competed in a long distance rally.Steve
How far did that one make it?Reliant Robin
John, wha da fouk?Well motoman---that list sucks giant donkey cawks so I fixed it for you.
Absurdly incomplete...
No Saabs listed
No Saabs 96 or 99 listed in Group A----
No Volvo of any sort in Gp 1, 2, 4, A
I mean come on..
First word ------------>"this"<--------------------- man "this" is a list or "every" car that blah blahthis is a list of every car to have been raced in the wrc
...this is a list of every car to have been raced in the wrc
The internet works best with hyperlinks, pages, lists, etc... not a single page with everything on it.Doooodz time for a lesson in how language works which I was trying to help the poor geezer who wrote theis

I was trying to help the person understand that the page with the drop down menu was not a list odf every car..
A lotta this galoots I have run into say crazy shi like "Subuaru were the first 4wd car in rally ever and won everything back in the day like the 80s"..
Just like books work best with contentless footnotes and bibliographies with the address where a book was published but no further comments.. Right. The internet works best with hyperlinks, pages, lists, etc... not a single page with everything on it.
But, maybe your argument is with the OP's grammar? I guess grammatically speaking, the person should have wrote "this is a website where you can find lists of every car..." yadda yadda yadda![]()
Ok, so actually the yellow one is an Alfa Milano. There is a GTV6 that has run some PNW rallies a few times though. Pics for proof:There was a yellow Alfa Romeo GTV6 rallied at Ojibwe a few years ago.
Fun Topic.
Steve
You don't know about the Merc SLC rally cars? One of my favoritesHere's everything someone's asked about that I (or others) have been able to confirm via Google or other sources:
Aston Martin DBRS9
Audi Avant (any)
Lotus Exige
Mercedes Benz 190E
Mercedes-Benz 450SLC
Rolls Royce
Mercedes 450SLC 5.0, used on some of the African rallies (like the Safari as in the pic)You don't know about the Merc SLC rally cars? One of my favorites.
On one of the Marathons, I think (London-Sydney or London-Mexico).Here's a Rolls, but don't know the story.
Really?Oh, and for JV, the list linked is all the World Rally Cars (a specific set of homologation/preparation rules), not all the cars that have ever run in a WRC event.
