Since SCCA feels "PRO" is where the money is, maybe its time "PRO" puts on its own events and gives up using the "club" people to help pay the bills.
This way SCCA can have its 15-20 car fields and apply the rules or make them up as they go along. Think about it, no more will there be 6 plus year old junky cars bring down the marketability of the series. Entry fees will be easily contained to $5K-$10K per car. If a team needs more time to repair a car it will be easy to hold the field. 5 minute dust windows. The benefits go on & on.
So why does SCCA allow the "club" rallyist to bring down "PRO"? They need our money and our events?!!
