With the sky lighting up in the distance from the neighbors'
fireworks, and the cold night air clear all the way to the
heavens, now seemed like a good time to wish each and every
one of you a safe and happy new year. May it bring to you all
that is good in life, and may it leave behind those things
better left buried in the past.
