I just remembered that some of you folks were asking about the tow fund payback from the CRNC. Here's one data point (me):
-I got the check really quickly, about 2 weeks after the event.
-The check was for $0.09/mile driven. It was described as being calculated by taking $0.18/mile of distance between my hometown and Salem MO.
This amount of money obviously doesn't completely cover even the travel costs to get to an event, but it is enough to convince me to go again next year if I'm lucky enough to be invited again.
