Germany could lose its round of the World Rally Championship following a
meeting of the World Motor Sport Council in Paris today (Wednesday). The
council could exclude Rallye Deutschland on safety grounds following an
unsatisfactory report from FIA-nominated observers.

Too many "Greens" spectating? It's a well known fact that Germany as a large number. Maybe that's why it's taken Herr Rorhl this long to get the rally organized. It would be a shame to lose it. I've rallied in Germany in the past. Couldn't get to link for the reasons for cancellation.

Those were about the silliest tarmac stages I have seen for a WRC event.

I'm certain there are other areas in Germany with better selections.

Well, the report was negative because the committee was unable to get onto the some of the premises. Baumholder stages in particular.
The follow up report will be different.

I'm not sure what you call "silly" stages Joeg, but I think the stages are not much different than others in the WRC or anywhere else. Have you been in Germany and rallied the stages?
According to the WRC teams, they liked them.
