My entry is not up yet. '87 rx-7 turbo. Coming from AZ. Should be a total blast. Not much competition here. Looks like good competition!

Anyone know of anymore G2 cars coming? Randy Bailey? Steven Perret?

So far this thing has gotten a good start to being a wild Group F sauna contest.

And what a slelection of cars in the G5 CRNC! Old V8 Vette, 1G N/A RX7, 2G turbo RX7, Ford Sierra turbo, Omni GLH turbo (I hope). What fun!

Spot on! The DSMs further complicate the TW/100AW trophy chase! I rememeber with fondness the Eagle Talon G5 car Ron Nelson let me drive at Cog last year. What a rocket ship that Clown Car is! Can't say I'll miss the claustrophobic aspect of the 1G DSM but if the Omni doesn't come together I'll certainly miss the horsepower tackling this array of G5 machines with the thawed Sno*Tortoise.

Ready for the car!

Good on ya! Take one Studbug stir it into the great white north and flash freeze it to sub-zero temps and -POOF- SNO*TORTOISE.

Another vacation day about to be shot to h---, but tomorrow the as-yet-unnamed Omni will bark to life.

Or else ...

News & Notes ...

A couple of the variables we needed to make the Omni turbo come together in time for the CRNC have failed to materialize so it'll be Tina and me the Production Bug duking it out with all those G5 funny cars ... All I can say to all those 2WD hares out there is, Beware the Tortoise! ;-)

My ride gives rise to what could be an interesting experiment regarding stage notes, however. With folks like Justus, who has had no problem solidly outrunning me in the Bug over the last year, choosing to run without notes in MO it'll be interesting to see how different the margin is between us since Tina and I will be on notes. If notes really are a competitive advantage we should have a close battle. If not I reckon he'll pound my keester again ...

Nope. Still in pieces in the garage. Not enough funds to run 100AW. We're bummed. But the upshot is that the Omni with be a monster when it gets put back together.
