Jon Bottoms and I are planning on attending the Hangover 200.
Four 50 lap races on New Year's.
I'll have a Sube in the 4cyl race and Jon will have a 6 so we can watch someone we know in another race.
Wish us well, I don't own a gun and I'm the world's worst fighter so it could be ugly.
Last year's race was quite a spectacle with five cars burning simultaniously.

I bet an AWD Caravan or some other AWD mini-van would do pretty good in that

Here in Quebec, we call that "L'enfer", in english it translates to : "Hell". 100 cars, 100 laps, last man standing (car rolling). Then we have another one a few weeks later called "L'enfer à l'enver": "Hell backwards" The survivors of the first plus some new and others who fixed thiers up from the first do it again, but run the track the other way around. For someone who does roundy round racing, turning right is a challenge!

Have fun and good luck!

Just got back, Jon got stuck in the mud in his race, I was leading at the 1/2 way red flag, the alt light had been on and the car ran out of juice a couple minutes before the restart.
Bite is good, film at 11.

RE: Hangover 200 Movies and stills

As promised, Hangover 200 Movies and stills are now found at:
www.randyzimmer.com
I'd like to thank Alan Jordan for his fine camera work despite having Ann Jones Jordan screaming in his ear and spotting for him.
It was kinda like a rally except the trees move. Despite only having two corners to learn, the corners tended to change each round and so did the straights. There was no dusty dust but more of a thicker sort of dust.
All in all, a fun day and better than sitting home watching reruns.
(no bowflex for me thank you!)
