Greetings Fellow Rally Pals:

I have had contact with Doug Robinson from SCCA and have discussed the possibility and reality of making first aid kits available to Rally individuals and groups.
I have been an EMT for many years and have worked within the Rally network during the last few years participating in events here in Minnesota (Go Ojibewe!), Missouri, Michigan and Wisconsin.
I have contacted 15 medical service suppliers and can honestly say that I have secured the best wholesale prices available for the materials requested to be onboard. Those wholesale prices will be passed onto you when you purchase a complete kit. We also have individual pieces available for purchase to upgrade your current kit. Individual pieces will be sold not as wholesale but at a rate cheaper than you will find retail.
If interested in more information - please feel free to contact me at [email protected].
To view a complete listing of the two first aid kits we have available .. please visit www.redlightrescue.com and click on the link for SCCA first aid kits in the left margin for details including cost, contents, and PayPal option for payment.
I am headed to 100AW Woods within the next 5 hours to "play" in the woods too....I am bringing prototypes of the kits and supplies for order or purchase if you are headed to MO to play too... Look for me at Registration on either Rally day - otherwise we are capable and able to send kits to you.

Just returned last evening from 100AW woods -- awesome stages for the competitors! Weather didn't really cooperate much other then to test the driver's abilities! ...:eek:X
Kurt Spitzner and Doug Robinson were in contact with me personally at the registration area and viewed the protypes I had with me and were complimentary to the size and packaging of the kits I had made available to the competitors. They were positive about the additions I have made to the kit and have asked me to share those items and reasons with the SCCA board.
If you need more information about the kits see the previous post and contact me via those links.
While I was at 100aw I have 6 confirmed orders to send out and two inquiries from racing organizations about information about how they can make some for themselves up locally .. so lots to do!!

Have Fun ... but be safe!

I added a cold compress to the basic requirements and 10 pkgs. of 4x4 gauze pads instead of just 2 pkgs. .... I was asked "What would I like to find in a kit in the middle of the woods to help competitors in rally IF I didn't have any of my "medic" toys? For basic care, these were the two things I would like to find in addition to what SCCA required.

In the Rally Angel II kit I added a few items to make the kit meet ASHI standards that were recommended by OSHI - this included a roll of Kerlix, a mouth barrrier, cleansing wipes and burn jel packets.

Both kits contain Fabric bandaids which are much more durable that regular "bandaids".

Hey Rally Friends -

Just an update to let you know that the first batch of Kits that I put together are going quickly ....

I have to say that the Michigan Rally guys are out ahead with the most kits ordered.

But I expect BIG things from the Cleveland area after their clinic next weekend.....

I heard from people first handed out in the Pacific coast states that even the price I am charging for upgrade items are less expensive than items you are finding locally -- so drop me an email ... I do ship "pieces" from the kit.

Most of the competitors are choosing to purchase the Rally Angel II kits with the upgrades that meet ASHI standards -

I have throughly enjoyed exchanging emails with the rally racers from all over the country ...

HAVE FUN...... BUT BE SAFE!
