>watch out loab!

No sweat for Seb. Francois will make an excellent team mate but he is not in Loeb's skill class, as witnessed by his Japan rally performance.

I'll stick my neck out again. I was right this year. I predict these two will finish in the top 3 next year, possibly 1st and 2nd with Duval being the runner up. Any takers?

I predict they won't finish at all in those cars in 2006, any takers? :)

I'll take that bet.

(from worldrallynews)Citroen contemplates rescue for C4 16 Nov, 15:39

Citroen Sport could rush the C4 World Rally Car into action next summer in a bid to gain some value from the car before the team¹s withdrawal from the World Rally Championship at the end of 2005.

Competitions supremo Guy Frequelin stated that it would be impossible to make the new hatchback ready to rally before July, but said that it was under consideration. World Championship rules ban testing in November, but C4 development is poised to resume in December...

I find it hard to believe that Citroen would rush the C4 into competition, only to yank it 3 months after? Sounds like a waste to me - my bet is the Peugeot goes and plays the touring car circuit, and Citroen stays to clean up with the C4. Remember, in the WRC, no one admits any truth until the 11th hour.

Two words: political posturing.

but then again, I'm not a bettin' man }>

Well the bulk of the money has been spent on it already and it will be obsolete in 2006 wether they pull out or not so they might as well give the boys a chance to roll it off a bank in France. Eithe way something would have to go horribly good/bad for the Xsara to be the Citroen entry in 2006.
