I wonder? How many of SCCA's eight Divisions are complying with Performance Rally Rule 9.6.E.2 "Trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers in class for each Division at the end of the season"?

Let's see, the SCCA raised the membership dues a couple of years back, with $5 allocated to divisional trophies. Subsequently this was denied until another steward happened to find the memo that explained the hike. As a result, SoPac will now receive $300 for the trophies.

5 classes x 2 people in the car x 3 places deep = 30 trophies needed

$300 / 30 trophies / 1.08 for sales tax = $9.20 / trophy

Anybody want to point me in the direction of a $9 trophy shop in Ventura County, CA?!

Order and buy on line -- you'll be able to find something small, simple but nice for +/- that amount.

If I find the web-site I have used in the past I'll pass it along.

Do you have people that deep in all the classes?

Maybe awards should be re-thought if you are 3 of 3 do you really deserve a trohpy...

Maybe well used rally tires with white shoe polish for the "engraving"? :p

The ClubRally Stewards submitted the information...it seems to have fallen out of the final edition. We'll see that it gets back in. To tell the truth, that part of the rulebook doesn't get proofread very well...

Never ascribe to malice that which can be explained by oversight.

They managed to list the 2002 PRO RALLY Champions in the 2003 rule book, but still only 1999 Club Champions ( same as LAST year).
Sorry, but I don't accept oversight as a good enough excuse.

What you do with those whitened tires is dig a hold and bury them upright, halfway out of the ground, in front of your shop. Then you take black paint and mark "2002 ClubRally Champeen" on each side so everybody can see. Use 2 tires each for driver and codriver so that each can put one on either side of the driveway. Real attention gitter.

3 years in a row!

Oversight nothing. ClubRally has been forgotten by the NWO gets priority PRD who spends their rulebook time making up nonsense such as the 5 event rule and then trying to explain their way around it.

PRD could care less about ClubRally. Why was it when they went to observe Rally NY that they did not bother to attend the event's award ceremony?
Truth is in the PRD eyes, ClubRally winners and champions are actually ClubRally wieners and chumps as they only care about kissing up to manufacturers and ProRally.
