DFL RACING ANNOUNCES NEW E-MAIL MAILING LIST FOR 2005

HOUGHTON, MI ? In an effort to reach out to rally fans, Die Fliegen Legion Racing has created a free email mailing list. The purpose of the mailing list is to give fans and fellow competitors an inside look at a rally team, and what it takes to rally. Subscribers will be kept up to date on such things as results, car repairs, rally weekend planning, logistics, as well as announcements and press releases. Questions from subscribers relating to the mailing list?s content will also be answered to the best of our abilities.

To subscribe to the mailing list please visit the DFL Racing web page at: http://myweb.nmu.edu/~cseidel and follow the links to the instructions.
Or email (cseidel @ nmu dot edu) and state that you would like to be put on the email list. It is not an automated majordomo-type email list, yet we will do our best to make it as easy to use as possible.

DFL Racing is just a group of friends that like to rally. We are in no way connected to anyone trying to sell you anything, and will never give out any email addresses or personal information to anyone, even if they torture us. The sole purpose of the DFL Racing mailing list is to provide an inside look at the workings of a rally team.

DFL Racing competes in the Central Division of Rally America?s rally series. Based out of Houghton, Michigan the team is planning on competing in nine events for the 2005 season in their Production Class VW Golf GTI. Please visit the website at http://myweb.nmu.edu/~cseidel

Thank you.

Yeah, its Cal's old car. :D

And I picked DFL. I thought it was funny. I like jokes. Maybe in the future the name will even be a little ironic.

there was, back in the day, a punk band with the same or similar name.

We have a pile of old tires here. Most of them are the NFG brand.

Well officially name is Die Fliegen Legion. Had to do something to remain at least a little PC. But unofficially...

And actually, Matt, the old punk band DFL was partly my inspiration.

Oh, and so all you guys know, responding to this thready automatically signs you up! }>

DFL? I actually own one of their CD's around here somewhere. If I remember it was fast, crude and to the point. Everything a rally team should be (at least starting out.)

Carl, it looks like I might be getting a job in Colorado. If you ever think about coming out for Colorado Cog or Pikes Peak you'll have a top notch crew chief waiting for ya.
