Video is up at OLDDIRTYRACING.COM -- right side of opening page, scroll down , right column at archives you will see link for Desert Storm crash. The camera stopped soon after the big impact. We figured the crash started with the left front fender tagging the 3' berm causing a 190 with the rear of the co-driver side slamming into berm sending us off. The tail of the tape is --- 80mph, 8 rolls starting, 15' up and 80 yards long. We need photos of the car upside down out in the desert. Aaron and I are both OK. Being an OLD MAN I am feeling it more than the youngin.
The best pain killer so far is Flexural and Corona. This was one hell of a ride!! The car is toast but WE WILL BE BACK. ODR racing web site is available to my friend’s teams (free) in the CRS.

Glad you guys are OK. Too bad so many people went off and hurt their cars this past weekend.

I saw a video of Bill Holmes saving it, great driving and the truck's suspention obviously helped.

Empty feeling in your stomach when you walk out of the car after a good roll, but great relief when you know both occupants are ok.

yes it is the ex Masano car but not the ex Brown car.Masano killed that one.

Chuck, Wow! Video is crazy. I was worried when I saw the car on it's lid and pointed the wrong way. I knew you were going fast by how far out in the desert you were. Man was I relieved to see the OK sign being held high in two good arms walking back toward the course. Sorry about the car, but it is good that you guys moving around okay. Good luck with putting together a new ride.

Yeah, Masano trashed Mark B's old FX back @ Laughlin '02. Mike and I then built this car in '03 to replace it, same time I built the Festiva. Certainly a few peices of the original where on it, but 80-90% of it was replaced with different pieces.

Mike was at Laughlin 07 competing in RallyMoto, and at Prescott 08 competing with his son Max in a Focus.

He's just busy with other distractions lately, but still talks about rally constrantly. So, he'll get back into it soon enough, hope so anyways, he's always fun to be around.

Again THANKS Iam ready to RACE. Car or Truck ? Old Dirty (truck) is almost ready to run. Also with Jon R. help i just picked up a Ford Escort. Probaly race the truck then sell it when the car is ready, ANYONE want a STRONG rally truck !! See you all soon. Maby N. Nevada will have to see how it comes together !!
