I don't *know* rally, but I know race cars. 26 years into this, I still have the "my cars don't miss events" drive in me.

99-00 = factory backed Porsche GT3R team in ALMS
01-03 = Porsche GT3RS in Grand Am
04-06 = Porsche 996/997 in Grand Am GS
07-08 = Nissan factory backed Grand Am GT and GS cars (4 car team)
08-09 = Porsche 997 GT3 Cup IMSA challenge
09-10 = Porsche Grand Am ST class
11-12 = Porsche club race cars GT3's

Not looking for the typical daily rate we charge for pro events. I want to learn. Food/Shelter/Transportation is what I'm looking for.

No kids, 15min from an airport, wife is understanding of all the travel :)

Strong points:

Suspension
Data
Video
engine
trans

Weak points:

Haven't TIG welded in 10+ years
I'm 6'1 215lbs (won't be a passenger any time soon in a rally car.. lol)

NorCal travel is no problem (I'm in SoCal)

Final note:

Do to all the travel nationwide since the mid 90's (club racing and Pro) I know a LOT of shop/business owners. A lot of people who open the doors for me at midnight when I need to use the shop due to breakage/engine/trans. I have found this to be invaluable!! Business owners who show up at 2am to pull a part off the shelf that I *know* is sitting there from a previous visit :)

I also know where 90% of the Wal-Marts are located near race tracks :)
