both myself and the owner of www.impreza.net (Nick C.) (nasioc.com) have been working with Subaru on a memorial decal.

We had several different ideas submitted by graphic designers... and Subaru has chosen a memorial sticker which is to be produced in the near future. We're going to try to take the time to do this right.

Currently we're soliciting bids on the sticker production work.

Note that....
this sticker idea may differ slightly from what was discussed here on ss (i havent read the threads to be honest...) These stickers will be made available for a minimal "donation". Along with officials at the Subaru camp... we will be certain that 100% of the proceeds either go to the families of Mark and Roger, or to their selected charities if they so wish.

These will be made available to everyone.. you can see a sample of this sticker in the new heading now seen on www.nasioc.com

Again, the idea behind this is to show the love and support of the competitors, fans, and friends of Mark and Roger. NOBODY is making a dime off of this.

and give the $ to Subaru and let them dispurse it as necessary....

i'm not taking the bait

long and short of it -
permission was granted from SUBARU...
really, that's enough said.
i'm not getting in the middle of a political battle...
that would do more harm than good.

this isnt about the subaru community vs rally vs whatever.
why make it out to be?
not the mentality we need IMHO.

Seems to me... someone started the ball rolling..
and it's rolling.. plain and simple....

I for one, am impressed and thankful that so
many had the same idea!!
That only goes to show how respected and admired these men were...
