If a ClubRally steward allowed 7 out-of-division coefficients to be counted toward the divisional championship during a season, how are they counted?
The best 7 coefficients if the competitor has finished more than 7 coefficients total, or only the best 7 of one out-of-division coefficient1 and two coefficient3 events or two coefficient2 and one coefficient3 finishes?
Example, a competitor finishes three coefficient 3 events. Do they get their best 7 coefficients counted or only 6 coefficients counted even if 7 out-of-division events are allowed?

Confused.

You must count full events...that is, if you're allowed 7 OOD coefficients and you run 3 C3s, you can only count 6 coefficients from them.

Does that answer the question? I got a a little lost in your hypothetical :)

Let's not forget that the rulebook has been incorrect for a few years now with regard to Scoring clubrallies.

Maybe it will get fixed for this year.

I know that scoring 2/3 of all in-division coefs. and allowing 6 out of Div. coefs. was how Cendiv ran.

With event cancellations and additions this makes for a crazy scoring cenario. And with the 2/3 requirement you had to mix and match C3's and C2's to get the amount that was scored, or you end up with an entire rally not counted because you went over the alloted scored Coeficients.

Heck, I wouldn't have a problem with All in division club rallies count. No out of division club rallies scored.

Kind of simplifies things, no matter if rallies are added, subtracted, etc.

It's really designed for a Division with a mix of Coefficient 1, 2 and 3. If you have all 2s and 3s, it can require some juggling. I don't see any problem with allowing partial rallies to be counted...but nobody's ever come forward with a proposal to change it, so the PRB thinks everybody's happy.

This would certainly reward those who usually finish over those who had DNFs. In a Division the size of CenDiv, however, it also rewards those with a big travel budget. Not scoring OOD rallies punishes those who live at the edges of the Division...many folks in CenDiv are closer to STPR and Ski Sawmill than any event in their own Division. Then there are those guys in South Dakota...
