In case anyone (everyone?) missed it - there was a form for submitting suggestions to the rules for 2005 in the package with the train information.

Timeline:

All suggestions must be in by June 1

Rules committee to consider the proposals by August 1

Input from the sport by Oct 31

Board decisions made by Nov 30

So ..... better get your proposals in including name and rule/article number.

It doesn't say where to send your suggestions but I assume if you send them to the CARS office they will get there - I hope ;-)

I'll be the first to post a suggestion for discussion. I know it is going to be put in to the committee.

Group 2:

Remove the engine multipliers, which limits the cars eligible. As long as it is under 2400cc, 2WD, and non-turbo it's OK.

Biggest problem is the 1.15 multiplier for 4 valves per cylinder eliminates a lot of current cars.

Thoughts?
Others?

This form for submitting suggestions for rule changes, could you post a copy of it?

I just went through the CARS website and there is no mention of it anywhere.

Thanks,
Darryl

I think this is a great idea.

Get some of those 240sx's out of drift...

I would respond in support of this change.
