I have a friend that needs to get a car from OK to PA.

The car runs and moves but not very well.

Anybody have any good experiences with car transportation companies?

He would like to spend as little money as possible but still get it back in good condition.

TIA

I actually got my rally car out west that way ... LOTS cheaper than gas plus food plus tires plus time.
HINTS: Ask about when prices change: August is the most expensive month, because students are moving , families are moving, all before school starts. Build in lots of leeway -- I missed a rally last year becuase the car got back 6 days late (it had sat for 5 days 20 miles from the rally location!). If anyone promises much faster delivery than anyone else, THEY'RE lying. When you make your choice, go back to the next top 3 and ask why you shouldn't use the company you use. Then make the final decision. Ask about how you can track progress, and can you do it 24 hours a day. Most companies are nationwide, and their offices may be in Florida or Washington, and the time zone can trip you up.
Hope this helps.
