I have been invited by the owner of this historic Imp (my old navigator) to drive the vehicle in the 50th Liege International Police Rally, based in Liege, Belgium, in May 2005. We will be entering the Veterans Class and will, as usual have a ball. My last visit was back in '96 when we rented a Citroen Visa from a local policeman. We had the older model, he had the newer one. The event is run under FIA regs and in '96, we ran 7 stages five times for a total of around 200 miles. I have no way of posting the Citroen photos on the internet, can anyone assist? "Fred" and I have done this event 5 times before, twice in my Chevette HS, once in a rented RAF Escort Mk2 and twice in a Land Rover, covering around 450 miles per event, (those were the good old days). Two of his sons are currently 6th o/a in the "Newcomers Challenge" of the Historic rallies, running an old Volvo 144GL. Some very nice cars can be seen on the links if you have the patience. http://www.hrcr.co.uk/index.htm Enjoy.

I'll have to ask. Do you plan on vacationing around that time too? The last time we did the event, every time we pulled into service, the crew were all over the car asking, "What needs to be done?". Stock answer was, "Nothing". They couldn't believe it. Most they did was give us gas, clean the windshield and lights. Talk about having an easy time! Jimmy, hope you can drink! The last time I went to bed at 0500hrs, the Finns were still at it!
