I guess I will start with my annual post about the Barbados rally carnival. This year should be good, if you get a chance you should get down here to watch it. As it stands of the 30 spots available for "oversea's" entries, all have been used. From what I have heard, they are from England, Scotland, Ireland, Holland, Hungry and Austria, they received 48 entries from Europe in total. This does not include 12 Jamaicans that want to come down. This should mean a full field of 90 cars.

There are two events in the Carnival, the first weekend is a rallysprint. The following weekend is a tarmac rally, which means you could get two events for the price of your airfare:)

I am heading back home to see the bajans cut tail. 1. Micey 2. Skeete 3.Surfer 4.Mayers 5. Gale 6. Iceman. Foreigners cant handle the talent of the bajans. I guarantee no foreigners will be on the podium. The bajans will make me proud.

No, none of those belong to Dwayne, though I did hear that he was coming down for the event(it's a small Island). Tell him to swing by and say Hi, I'll be Naving for a UK entry in the Texaco, a 1400cc Vauxhall Nova, running in Group M5.

Ah, it will be running.

The open questions are a) what color will it be and b) on what stage will it lose its muffler?

RE: Barbados 2003"

I have not heard much about what is coming in that will be in M9 or M6 groups. I heard there will be an old style mini in M5, the Nova and I believe Kenny Hall is brining down his Suzuki engined Corsa again also in M5. There is also probably the Manta coming back and the BMW M3. Jonathon Still has also put together a M3 to run this year. Derrick Roach's New Cooper S will be out, Morley is apparently bringing in a new Group N Subaru prepared by Prodrive to replace his Evo 7. The Littons are looking at moving from P3 to M7 in their Astra, Nick Gill is looking at moving from P2 to S in the Mazda, plus bringing back out the old Beetle to run at VRW. So it looks like there will be nobody in P class this year so far. Scrutineering is in a couple of weeks so we should see what else is out and about, plus the first event for the year is Feb 9.
