I see reading the Pacific press release that Pat broke another transmission?

Does anybody have a table or listing of how many they have broken this year alone? Just curious.

Also, of the top running Subaru's around do guys have a mileage listed for trans. replacement? Something like every 40 stage miles or so and the box has to come out?

I know in the US that Doug Havir runs the lastest spec. Prodrive transmission and his service guy said it was rated for 60 stage miles.

Im I the only person who thinks that having the same problem for about 3 years now is unacceptable.

Time to look for some new engineers and material scientists there Subaru.

The transmissions are turning out to be an even bigger joke than the Mazda boxes and that is pretty pathetic.

Well any second now we should get a big message from some keyboard wizard who knows everything cause his homepage is the Subrat OImpreza Owners Club Of whatever telling you they're bulletproof, Indestructable and that you guys may not be, but I sure am a big asshole for daring to teardown somebody efforts by the unforgiveable crime of asking about the strength of Sub-a-rat components.
So despite youse guys not saying a thing relating to poor Pats continuing pain growing out of the long line of junk trannies going back to his 2.5, and neither of you said anything which somebody with an ounce of brains, or any real experience in rally could concieve of as negative abouit Pat, in the spirit of the mentalitay showed by that guy from San Diego:

What a bunch of poo-poo balls you guys are for tearing down Pat's efforts at PF rally! The only thing you guys are here on SS on line is to tear down Sub-a-rats!!!
They're (what did he call them?) Bulletproof!!!

I think that guy should hold his breath till he turns blue (that nice Subie blue would do) if you guys don't apologize to he, and all Sub-a-rat owners who you no doubt have offended.

But did you guys see the post on off topic under the wierd drug induced Volvo posted by Paddy in Ontario? There's reports of Sub-a-rats so unreliable that parts fall off while the car is not even running!!! That's bad!
