OK --

For those who would like to see Hyundai stay in the chmpionship, is there anything the rally fans can do to encourage the Manufacturer to stay in the sport. (For those who don't want the Manufacturers, write the SCCA and PRB, let your vioce be heard...)

Do the marketing types at Hyundai want any help?
How can we help?
Who do we send out thanks and encouragement to?

Likely we should probably just keep our noses out of it...

The only thing I've done to help in this regard was taking stacks of Wild West programmes to the Hyundai dealers in Olympia and Tacoma in 2001. It's hard to know what to do at this point. Interest rates are low; maybe we should all go buy Elantras this weekend. We can commute in them for a year and then turn them into G2 cars!

Has anyone asked Hyundai what they would like?
In Europe, manufactures have created their own series like the 206 Cup, the Polo Challenge etc.
Could it be that manufactures are fed up with some of the politics?

By "politics" do you mean maybe Prodrive wants to write rules to reduce power in the open class so that the Subie gearboxes will last? Or is it something about Republicans taking congress?

No, I meant the politics in teams and clubs.
