'02 SVT Focus originally built for "Spec Focus Rally"
I have owned it for the last 10 years. I have records of almost all the purchases and a log of events. I have used it several times in the last few years it preformed very well and I had no issues with it. I am selling because my wife and I now have 3 little kids and this car is no longer my priority. I am sorry to see the car go but we could use the money more than a perfectly good race car collecting dust in the garage.

    Duratec 2.3
    handmade int/exh manifolds
Block: 2.3L Duratec Stock 87.5mm Bore
Crank: 2.3L Duratec Ranger, 94mm stroke
    Rods: Eagle H-Beam 6.094"
    Pistons: 13.0:1 compression Supertech Forgings
Camshafts: Crane Cams Stage 4, 224-0016
    Oil Pan: Modified Stock
    3" exhaust
240whp on conservative tune and conservative dyno

    5 speed MTX75 gearbox
rebuilt with gearset from Mk1 Focus RS
    final drive lowered to 4.5:1
    Torsen ATB diff
    Cosworth flywheel
    Clutchmasters stage 4 clutch
    short shifter on raised pedestal

Drummond Motorsport coilovers - springs for gravel or tarmac
these coilovers are super beefy 50mm items with an inverted damper setup, over $5k new
all tubular control arms and poly bushes
setup can easily be changed from tarmac to gravel, tarmac setup is great on road courses

upgraded power steering pump, ratio quickener, and small diameter sparco wheel

1552 Tarmacs, Rotas, Team Dynamics gravel wheels

    NASA logged cage, custom built
    racetech seats
    transponder
    terratrip intercom
    terratrip "rally computer" odometer
roof scoop and bonnet vents molded off WRC car parts - and function
    rally light pod
    very stout full underbody protection

    spare parts
will include helmets and neck restraint device
    current non-op registration

This car is well sorted out and ready to go.
For rally, this car fits in the Limited 2wd class, but is as fast as the open 2wd cars. It would be very competitive in time attack.

    $15,000 firm

I would like to sell it with our car trailer. It is a ~7yr old Big Tex single car trailer. upgraded to have brakes on both axles. newer tires. long ramps for lowered cars. good cond. additional $1,500

Images won't load and your Flickr link doesn't work for some reason...

Who built the car originally? Is it currently registered for road use?

It was originally set up by a small shop out of Ridgecrest, CA that is now defunct. I later bought the demo car from Walter Marcy Motorsports and put that drivetrain in this car.

    It is currently non-op'ed.
