I just checked out this car in person yesterday. Seller is a good guy, we chatted about rally for a while (used to compete together).
The car itself does need some work, such as getting the cage updated to meet ARA 2020 rules but other than adding the sill bar it's still a good cage, shouldn't cost much to have done. The suspension could use a refresh but honestly this is a KILLER deal for someone's first rally car. Healthy engine, well constructed car, seems properly sorted. Especially being a Subaru coupe. Good thick skidplate, nice wheels. Some spots of rust on the lower rocker panels that can be easily mitigated.
Budget another $1-2k in updating the cage, refreshing the suspension, new belts and you've got a really well built OL car that you can sell later on for about the same price.
