U.S. Stage Rallying 2016 by the Numbers
My own unofficial statistics that I collected for U.S. stage rallying (cars only) using results from RA Nationals, RA Regional’s, NASA events, CRS and South West rally series, and the Wellsboro, New England Region and Northwest Rally Organization rally sprints.
A total of 426 drivers competed on these events this year but, 106 of these drivers HAD NOT competed before since I started the list in 2011. Which means 319 drivers competed this year since I started the list in 2011. The list currently has 905 drivers on it, which means 479 drivers who have competed since 2011 did not compete in 2016.
The drivers were from the following Countries/Provence/States:
China = 1, France = 1, UK = 1,
Canada = 8 (AB=3, BC=3, MB = 1, ONT=1)
(US = 415) AK = 1, AR = 1, AZ = 5), CA = 51, CO = 16, CT = 7, FL = 8, GA = 4, IA = 1, ID = 5,
IL = 10, IN = 4, MA = 15, MD = 4, ME = 9, MI = 46, MN = 14, MO = 13, NC = 12, ND = 3, NH = 13,
NJ = 8, NV = 2, NY = 31, OH = 14, OK = 2, OR = 17, PA = 18, RI = 6, SC = 4, TN = 3, TX = 2,
UT = 1, VA = 15, VT = 2, WA = 35, WI = 8 & WV = 1.
I am still missing states or provinces’ for the following drivers;
Jim Farrell from the NASA Raceway Park Rally sprint
Pierce Fabian, Brian Jeide & Andy Miller from the NW Rally Association Riverdale & Dirtfish Rally sprints.
