RallyX at the FIRM is a new rally racing series that we will be hosting this year. The basic format of the events will be similar to that of a typical SCCA or NASA Rally Cross, but there are some key differences. The main difference will be the 80/20, gravel to tarmac course. The racers will have to navigate through many dirt to pavement transitions on every lap. The main goal is to give the racers out there a real racing experience and to allow them to push their skills beyond the limit. As we have learned through many years of training, a course with alternating surfaces is the best way to push those limits.
Sounds like a great event for newbies to rally (since this is basically a super special stage) or anyone without a real rally car (since all you needs is a helmet). Six events in 6 months and a rally class for the winner!
And ALL in Florida! When its not hot!
