Default Rally Road at 2014 Mint 400

Off-Road Racing and Rally are inherently connected at the hip. Many of the best off-orad racers have raced rally, emulated rally drivers, gone to rally schools, etc.

On March 14th on East Fremont St. in Las Vegas, NV we will be hosting our contingency/tech prior tot he race.

We will have several rally car builders including Vermont Sports Car and Olsberg MSE. We will also have Rally America, GRC and others on hand to represent rally Culture.

Come out and check it out. It's Free!

Here is a video from last years TV show:

Nice. I agree there is much more crossover than usually gets exposed. At the Baja1000 this year I spoke with Armin Schwartz about the use of pace notes in offroad. Funny that there aren't even more crossovers. It's maybe a bit of a culture thing, and perhaps we can address that for everyone's benefit.

Very happy you're having rally involved. Thanks!

Getting those off-road guys who spend WAY more than we ever do on their equipment is indeed a good market to shoot for IMO.

Would be cool if the Mint had a little 2-3 mile rallysprint type stage to show off what our cars can do.

*EDIT* apparently we also need beauty contests! Ms. Sno-Drift, Ms. 100AW, Ms. Oregon, Ms. STPR, Ms. LSPR, Ms. NEFR all have a big final showdown at LSPR for Ms. Rally-America.

    BRILLIANT!

I actually want to do a full blown stage rally in conjunction with the Mint 400. I need to stop sleeping, it's getting in the way of progress.

The FIA calls it Cross Country Rallying, and its known as Rally Raid as the common term.
