Man, one guy gets successful with this crowdfunding (after spending YEARS of his own money racing, with results, and being a genuinely great guy) and now everyone is trying.

Honestly, you aren't going to get much of anything from the people around here. We too also all work 9-5 jobs, work hard, and try to race whenever we can.

One question though. Why are you trying to race in the national series when there is no national OL class? Seems like pointless use of money?

Seat time is Seat time and a few reason Snow the ultimate equalizer!. More competition and good drivers make you run harder there is also a lot to learn especially with different driver from different parts of the US, IMO Open light will be a national class here soon. affordable reliable and fun.
for now we can run the regionals and still place in OL or maybe even overall! rally is anybody's game in the snow. ;-)

That's what I meant. There is no reason to spend an extra $1k on a national entry when you can spend $500 on a regional subaru entry (if you are one of the first 10 to pay the entry fee and sign up for subaru contingency).

I'm always happy to see more people come across the border from other series, makes for a good to way to stack up the competition. I won't be at Sno*Drift, but will watch for your results.

OL will never be national. It's a regional class, no one in it is going to want to spend an extra $1k for literally no reason at all.

Wondering how you are pretty clueless about the classing when you've already raced in OL at Olympus and Oregon Trail with Rally America? Those national entry fees were also much much higher than regional.
