The Tarheel Sports Car Club is sponsoring another season of racing in the dirt. The two locations this year are both smooth and flat, so there's no reason not to bring your new or almost new Subaru out for a day in the dirt. Rallycross is designed so that you can take your street car on regular tires, have a blast racing around a smooth, flat dirt/sand/gravel course on Sunday, and still drive to work on Monday.

Novices are more than welcome. Sometimes a novice shows up and beats everyone; sometimes a novice shows up and slides up all over the track spinning their wheels. What I can promise you are tips and encouragement from experienced rallyx drivers, some of whom have competed up and down the east coast at events like Sandblast and Rally WV. If you want to just check out rallycross before racing your car, just let us know at the bus and we'll arrange ride-alongs so you can experience what the course is like.

July 14 -Wilson County Fairgrounds
September 15th - Fayetteville Motor Speedway
October 20th-Wilson County Fairgrounds
November 17 - Wilson County Fairgrounds

THSCC Rallycross is an all day event for only $35 (preregister before noon, July 12th) or $40 cash the day of the event. The only way we keep the price this low is through volunteers, so everyone who races also helps out. Registration is at 9AM; first car off is at 10, and it usually lasts until 3 or 4.
