An explanation from Eric B here: https://www.specialstage.com/forums/s...tack!-Shootout
Last year Ojibwe & LSPR had the "Bragging Rights of the North" championship for regional competitors, with cash payouts in AWD, RWD & FWD. Unofficially there may be another "Bragging Rights" this year between Magnum Opus, Ojibwe & LSPR.

i understand , with the awd classes getting all the press its hard to sell drivers over technology.
don't get me wrong i enjoy driving an awd car too but the challenge of the 2wd car makes the thrill of the drive!

2WD is not dead. See results from Idaho 2013, and Nameless 2013. But unfortunately the MaxAttack series is. The PNW peeps usually put up a 2wd prize fund at rallies, because we love the MaxAttack spirit.

I feel that the Max Attack spirit is stronger then ever as is 2wd. There might not be a large prize fund but the fight is still there.
I'm totally bumping these olden threads!!
I have been trying to run 2wd prize funds at the events I can make it to. We just did one at Tour De Forest, and first place mostly covered an entry fee. I'm planning on making a bigger and better one at the 2020 Olympus!!!
