I noticed this last year that rally Idaho opened up a class for ATVs. But i couldn't find any info about anyone entering the event with one. I was wondering how it went, or if anyone is planning on entering with a quad next year? I may just have to try that out. I've never done anything flat out on my quad, and I'm pretty sure it would be REALLY slow, but who knows....could be fun.
I grew up on quads. Any new challenge on an ATV is worth exploring to me. Idaho is not too far away, so it's possible, but I wouldn't want to be the only ATV there.
yea there were two standard issue ATVs, three UTVs and i believe two or three dirt bikes.
Entry fees are much cheaper than a rally car and you drive just as much. The ATVs and Dirt Bikes had fatigue as an additional challenge due to this. Also, i have pictures.
i'm looking into starting a cross country rally event in the near future.
there is no off road racing on the east coast that i can find, so why not?
this would be more like dakar or the european cross counrty events
i have plans for rallymoto as well as atv and utv classes
any input from the folks out there would be help full
