Any suggestions for (very) affordable hotels near the rally start/finish with parking space for truck and trailer?
I know that it seems crazy but there is the option to camp at the camp ground that is start/service and finish.....
And that campground has showers.
ballast for #205 & #505 or you if you'll let me
Other than camping, any other suggestions for affordable motels with parking from the people who have been at this rally before?
http://www.mthoodrally.com in the Competitors' section. It is 30 pages of information about the area and businesses. Hopefully that will tell you what you need to know.
Let me know if you have any questions I can answer.
PS: There is not much spectator info in there, just a basic bit of basic information. More detailed spectator information will be forthcoming closer to the rally.
Oh thank you! That is very helpful for a Hood first timer(me). I'll be camping, just sent a site request.
Flat sixed Subaru Legacy sedan. (Rebuild underway)
Just a reminder to all the competitors who have entered, or are thinking of entering before the Oct 12 early entry deadline:
We MUST receive your PAYMENT by the early entry deadline if you want to pay the cheaper rate!! Just signing up does not count! You can mail us a check at the Oregon Rally Group PO Box, or give a credit card to RA, or contact me directly if you want to pay ORG with a credit card directly. All that info is in the supps.
Also: if you want to get $20.00 CASH IN HAND back at registration, make sure you send me all the info required by the supps by October 17! I want to make sure I get a large enough stack of Andy Jacksons. I've started another thread with this information for those of you who don't like to read the supps (drivers ha ha) or skimmed over that part of the supps.
Read it carefully!
As always, contact me directly with questions. My email is like this:
