Amy is on her way down already, so hopefully she'll take a peek out at the stages. If she does I'll ask about road conditions, when last seen they were fantastic.

The big winter storm has already claimed one racer, Doug Mo and his BMW HP2 won't make it down due to the Snopocalypse. I know some of the other racers from up in the NE left yesterday.

The SMS texting being echoed on the NRS facebook page seems to be working. You should be able to Like that and get those updates. facebook.com/NASARallySport

We put a hundred big posters up in the area, they had scannable QR codes on them, and hits are coming in from smart phone users on those.

A wide variety of beers were ordered for the awards party, they should be showing up tomorrow. No, not at my hotel room, so don't coming looking for them.

Some huge boxes of T shirts with a very cool design, and we have it in three colors, so buy one of those!

So, pretty cool, all in all. A little rain on Saturday, and off we go!

Ahh, first event of the year for us. And we'll be wielding the number "2" so watch out y'all.

Tom Barton asked me what it's like driving the number "4" which was our number last year...

It's much more difficult, Tom, than our new number.

You'll have something like: 100 L2 50 L2 100
Whereas we'll have: R3Lg 30 L2 80

See? The number "2" is much easier to drive!

This evening as I was warming up the car, I locked the keys in it. That's how my prep has felt all week

AAA on the way to get me into the car so I can finish my prep. FAIL!
