Uh, *24* cars and 3 motorcycles

stage "preview" was not particularly useful to co-drivers
Nor were they intended to be. If fact, they were discouraged from trying to use them in a way that a good co-driver might.

If they were intended to be used by the co-driver, the stage start and finish and the arrows would have been in place, the vehicle would have been traveling at a relatively constant speed and the video would have been shot with an odo visible.

    Hey Jimmy,

I know you wanted a sticker that matches CARS... but they don't publish theirs anywhere for me to check out. In any case, I looked at the existing stickers, for which the general standard is below.

And decided that that is great and very useful... for people who are trained to know what that means.

So I made up this one, which incorporates the "E circle" idea, but is also obvious to untrained people and bystanders, as long as they read English. It's there to use if people want it.

I may have been in error last night. I think I said that IRNY has 3 pass recce but reviewing the SuppRegs this morning it states 2-pass.

Is that the standard for any extinguisher? The only time I've ever seen an "E circle" sticker is next to the button for a plumbed-in system.

If you want something standardized, isn't there some sort of OSHA sticker that you could get at an industrial supply place or auto parts store that caters to commercial vehicles? It won't match the CARS stickers, but it'll be recognizable.

For road racing, I believe so.

For industrial / businesses, no, usually I see:

    Hmm.

Maybe it's a Canadian thing or maybe it's just because road racers tend to have plumbed-in systems, but in seven years of road race marshalling, I've never seen an "E circle" sticker used for a handheld extinguisher. I see them all the time for fixed, plumbed-in systems, but never for handheld.

Yeah, I could be all wrong on that.
