Default SS Richard Burns Rally Spring 09 Series: Week 4

The die has been cast and for week 4 we will be in USA running Hualapai Nation.

Stage is open from Monday June 29, 2009 00:00:00 PDT until Monday July 6, 2009 23:59:59 PDT.

This is week 4 for the A series, this is our normal series like we ran in the winter and also week 3 for the B series.

The B series is intended to better simulate a real rally where you cannot keep running a stage until you get a time that you like. Heres the trick, after a stage is announced for that week, the B Series will be scored using the best of your FIRST three attempts on that stage. Once you load up the stage and cross the start line, that counts as an attempt. After the first three are done you can keep running the stage to get your best A Series time.

So if you want to, in addition to posting your times as usual (for the A series), post your best of the first three attempts to be points for the B series.

To avoid confusion, the A and B series are being run at the same time. If you don't keep track of your first three attempts or don't care to run the B series, just post your times as usual to run the A series.

    Capiche?

    Series info is here:
    Spring 09 rules and info.

    Note:
Update your mod up to Patch 6 first. Get it here. All patches must be installed in sequence, so if you are at update 3 you need to install 4, then 5, and then 6.

    What to run from RSCenter2009:
    Pack: N4_s2000_1
    Mod: Normal Mod
    Damage: Realistic
    Weather: Good

If this is confusing let me know and I can clarify.

    B Series:
    Run 1: 4:07.21 (conservative/clean)
    Run 2: 4:08.57 (2 offroad excursions)
Run 3: 4:05.23 (almost rolled in last medium left before the last fast section)

This went much better than on the tarmac!

    Thanks,
    Alex

Should be able to get a low 3:48 ideally. Only blew one corner though!

    So far...

    B Series
Run 1: DNF that area after the first spectator point, my car just floated after that crest and had no traction and went right off the road into a multiple roll and then into a tree. Dead engine.
Run 2: 1:18.54 3:39.34 5:10.41 rolled and had to get reset but kept going with steering wheel at about 45 off center to the right
Run 3: 1:19.61 2:49.17 4:54.06 slid off and hit a spectator in that quick section then L4 into R4 so got a reset penalty

I should have been on target for a 4:12ish for B series if I didn't have those offs.

    A series
    1:15.74 2:42.52 4:02.87

could just be when you plugged it in you were holding it off center and it calibrated that as the center? I guess you probably already tried unplugging and plugging back in. So i dunno?
