Default SS Richard Burns Rally Spring 09 Series: Week 3

The die has been cast and for week 3 we will be in Austrailia running East-West.

Stage is open from Thursday June 18, 2009 00:00:00 PDT until June 24, 2009 23:59:59 PDT.

So the stage closes at mid-night next Wednesday on the pacific coast.

This is week 3 for the A series, this is our normal series like we ran in the winter and also week 2 for the B series.

The B series is intended to better simulate a real rally where you cannot keep running a stage until you get a time that you like. Heres the trick, after a stage is announced for that week, the B Series will be scored using the best of your FIRST three attempts on that stage. Once you load up the stage and cross the start line, that counts as an attempt. After the first three are done you can keep running the stage to get your best A Series time.

So if you want to, in addition to posting your times as usual (for the A series), post your best of the first three attempts to be points for the B series.

To avoid confusion, the A and B series are being run at the same time. If you don't keep track of your first three attempts or don't care to run the B series, just post your times as usual to run the A series.

    Series info is here:
    Spring 09 rules and info.

    Note:
Update your mod up to Patch 6 first. Get it here. All patches must be installed in sequence, so if you are at update 3 you need to install 4, then 5, and then 6.

    What to run from RSCenter2009:
    Pack: N4_s2000_1
    Mod: Normal Mod
    Damage: Realistic
    Weather: Good
    Launch RSRBR2009

If this is confusing let me know and I can clarify.

The stage was announced a day late this week. Do you guys want more time this week? We can extend the stage closure time to Friday.

    B series:
2:10.23, 5:27.42, 7:56.33 Had an off here that I had to call for assistance so that was 30 seconds lost right there on top of going off.
    DNF
2:04.27, 4:32.57, 7:06.53 Could have got 15 seconds more on this, but I rolled about 4 turns before the end. Luckilly I landed back on all 4 and was able to finish.
