Default Oregon Trail Pics and comments

Despite the conditions on Saturday, we had a great time at OT this year. Even with the large number of cars, nearly every stage I was on all weekend was within a few minutes of starting on time! That has to be a first. Thanks to the organizers for doing a bang up job. It's easy to see why it was the 2006 Rally of the Year. Thursday was also a unique experience as well and I think opened many unsuspecting people's eyes to both rally and the personalities behind the wheel.
SOOO, here's some photos from the weekend...

^Both this picture and the one above it were priceless!

    Here's a few more...
Day two's photos were very ghostly looking and devoid of color. We were near the ridge top of stage 7/10 past the spectator area and had a lot of fog, rain, and wind... I ended up wearing my ski pants, ski coat, and gloves to stay warm and dry. On stage 7 Gary lost his tranny right in front of me and my friend and was parked on the next corner down from where we were standing.

I love the rock spray pictures. Nice work as always. Any of #464?

Day three was much more pleasant and everyone was pushing a lot more, especially on stage 13. The 2wd competition was very impressive to watch this year, thanks largely to the Max Attack program.

Everybody was looking great on the flowing stages...

Thanks mang! It was a good weekend and had a lot of fun, despite the weather's best efforts on Saturday and part of Sunday. Got to try out some new lenses, new photo techniques, and meet up with a bunch of great folks.

Wow, those are some wicked pictures!
You should have a web site.
I have to see if you got any of me? Car #234, the one of two Toyotas at the event.

I'm not the poster of this thread and I don't have the good ones, but here's 234 from the view of Sweep on SS5.

And Timber junction saturday leaving the last stage.

And I was playing with my camera at PIR as we were getting ready to leave, and thought these looked cool
