    Default McRae - car designer?

What is the world coming to? This is something I never thought Colin was even interested in doing. Anyone know more about it?

2 MkII Jettas hiding in the barn, 1 Mk2 Golf currently sitting with a crappy 2.0L 16v engine swap waiting for my garage to be built so I can gut the wiring and do it right. 1 MkII Jetta GLI shell being stripped for spare parts.

    and from his web "diary"...

"Anyway I am lying here in bed trying to finish this blog “knackered” after an action packed weekend. Now its time to head to the sun for some relaxation before my trip to the states for the X games. My team mate out there is the mx free style king Travis Pastrana, so I am sure there will be plenty of action and a few bruises when I get back in early August. Will get back to you all then with an update. If I am still alive!.

Take care and remember “if in doubt, flat out”

    Colin.

Colin & Nicky having fun, giggling like school boys...nice to see them paired up again.

What'r the chances of McRae bringing his new R4? Wait...1st drive in anger during prime sports programming? Forget it...no chance.

I was at Goodwood and saw the car. It isn't complete or driveable.

Some of the componentry looks expensive, engine set fairly far back etc.

Would I pay GBP 130k for one? Prob not. I hope he sells it as a kit or something.

I didn't take pictures of it - sorry.
