I'm sure Anders at Nasa Rallysport has all the...
I wasn't referring to rally organizing but the thought that I'm now qualified to do something besides pharmacy. I'll tell em Anders said so.
So does that mean I can plan weddings now? Wonder how much they make?
Yes, sometimes. He usually only runs Monte and 1-2 others. He runs in the IRC and French series more.
That seems logical but not sure if it is reality. Good marketing people get sponsorships. GRC is a good example of that. Tons of sponsors but not sure they have that many spectators.
IF they spend money in town while they are there, that counts for a little bit, but mostly they are a hassle for organizers. Catering to them can lead you down the rabbit hole.
Too big as in width? Sparco makes 3 widths in some and OMP make a real wide one (wide enough for me, even).
He's pretty clueless of social media and would be the first to tell you that. He avoids it and so should a lot of us.
Better put a price up. Maybe some photos too if you really want to sell it :p
No story. They won't enter until they put out a press release about the whole season's plans. That is due any day now. I imagine most of the release will be about which events TP runs.
Look for...

Hope it doesn't get cancelled.
I was only kidding, but you sound motivated. Hope to see it soon.
So you'll have it ready for 100AW, right?
Not just Michigan. As mentioned above, we organizers know generally where coverage is but certainly not every hot or dead spot. RA people know what we know. I spent two days driving around with...
Just to clarify things for this site, when you say "rally car" what I think you really mean is fun/rallycross car. This being a site mostly dedicated to stage rally, people here refer to rally cars...
Roads were in good shape. More snow and less ice than previous years. Didn't snow while I was there, so no new powder, which meant most cars ran on Blizzaks or the equivalent. Lauchlin and Bucky...
Latvala says you're in my way :)

In case you didn't see it, competitor registration is open.
Volunteer Reg. is also open and we need lots of those as always.
Looks like it sold. Anybody we know? Sure hope it sees some stages again. I drove one of those at my first ever rally and it was a hoot.
So the poor thing was sold at the auction. I bet it wasn't close to the current asking price.
Seems a bit mis-represented to me based on this thread. No idea who the seller is, so maybe he is in...
The license fee going up is an effort to keep the entry fees down for small regional events. By the competitors paying more once a year, the hope is that will help cover the insurance for those...
Getting down there from StL area is the tough part for us. All the usual roads we can use have been closed with long detours. Should be fine soon though.
Are you doing any rallies this year? Do you still have the Aspire?
I'd bet there should be a :P in Matt's post
I see that it's only a month old, so I feel better now :p
But so much complaining, sheesh! Same crap every year in the off season where everyone craps on RA based on nothing but speculation.
