So this place has been a ghost town for a few years now. It went from being the place to be.... to being completely dead quicker than MySpace. Where is everyone now? Is there a facebook group?

Seems as though SS is dead. Is there a facebook group everyone has moved to? what's the scoop?
Apparently I DVR'd the season opener for GRC for this season, and I was watching it tonight and have to say I'm pleasantly surprised at where it's at these days. To have come from RA's New Jersey...
Welcome! I lived in Rapid for a few years as well as Spearfish. Now I'm up in Williston, ND about 6 hours north. The whole time I lived in the hills, I thought "man this place is a God-made rally...
As a guy who watches GRC purely from the couch (but I follow it quite closely), I agree that there are lots of talented drivers and great teams with incredible funding. But it's amazing how many of...
"Whoever is saying that has obviously never center punched a tree at speed."

Looked like a real nail biter! Bummer for such a great event. I'm sure Higgins felt very accomplished on that win.
But perhaps a better budget than Antoine had in the past when he was a challenger in the US.
Anyone have any idea where the X will be going, or what this means for Buffum?
Well apparently someone bailed cause now we're down to 13 national entries at SD
14 of the entrants are nationals at this point. Is that low for the end of December? I'm only asking cause I've never really studied it. All I know is a change of scenery would definitely be...
How many times is that now? They're constantly pulling out of US motorsports and then coming back. IIRC, Rhys's cars have been for sale before when Hyundai pulled the plug a few years back.
This was a great new direction to go to continue the series. I was definitely getting sick of seeing the fiesta do the same thing in different locations. But seeing that crazy mustang do the same...

GRC has some hidden gems in there where they actually design a course with a decent first turn. When GRC drivers can get through the first turn clean, there's usually a decent event....
Is this kind of like the Robinhood Rally a few years ago?
aren't the world tracks purpose built tracks that have been there a while?
Sounds like he's throwing quite the long term tantrum
Care to expound?
Pretty cool to see Americans and former GRC guys doing so well in the world rallycross championship. Mitchell DeJong was at Lydden Hill and won the lites class. Ken Block was at Norway this weekend...
There was literally ONE heat that wasn't flagged and restarted. Every year this is a huge let down. Can't wait for Stadium Super Trucks tomorrow. My guess is that SST will eventually replace...
Anyone have a few extra tow trucks you could send down to Austin? This is looking like the typical X Games rallycross events we're all used to
There were a lot of entries for STPR, but there were a LOT of names I expected to see and did not. I'm sure the regional battles were awesome, but the national......seemed off.
Like many have stated, Antoine will find a way to rally, just like he always has. I'd love to see him running all out in 2wd.
yes it was indeed Derik's car. Must be a really great car!
Not hearing much from the Pastrana smack talkers who were saying he won't be up to speed.
