Novice (sort of) co-driver avail for Sawmill

Anybody looking for a co-driver for Sawmill? I have more experience than most newbie co-drivers as I've driven 2 events (Sandhills/CT) and have paid close attention to what the right seat does. I'm willing to pay half the entry fee and my expenses. I'm also very mechanically inclined (ie replaced/rebuilt engines).

I will also crew for someone if I don't find a ride.

If you don't find a ride, I know the organizers are tight for workers (but I don't know of any organizers who aren't), and would love to have more experienced help. There isn't much to crewing for Sawmill since the service area is at the start/finish.

Hope to see you there;

Have you tried e-mailing Lesley or Tom Hovind? They may know which of the 20 cars with no identified codriver still need one (I'm guessing that a number of them do).

Fair warning to all, this is a driver, not a co-driver. You may want to think twice about employing him in your right seat. He needs explicit instructions for even the simplest things while in the left seat. }>

That's right...you've got to tell me when to step on the gas, and when to brake, steer, breathe, and poop. x( I can't do anything on my own. After all, I'm just a dumb driver. :p

No, I think I've found a ride in an Escort Cozzie. =) I'll know for sure tonight. You might want to email Wilson (above), my co-driver. We were planning on running the event, but couldn't get in...so he may do it for you if he's still got the days off.
