I'm selling off some volvo bits so I can run the Honda at LSPR. Here is what I have:

A set of 4 15x6 volvo "Aries" alloys with mismatched 195/60/15 tires. Tires have 7-9/32" of tread left. The wheels aren't perfect, but they came from florida and they're pretty clean. 5 x 108 (4.25") bolt pattern, 25mm offset. Should fit most RWD volvos, 240s and the like. SOLD

Second set are 4 14x5.5 volvo "Coronas" with 27x8.5x14 General Grabber AT2 tires. Tires have ~10/32" of tread left. They're good fun for rallycross or playing around in the woods with. Load range C. 5 x 108 (4.25") bolt pattern, 20mm offset. Wheels have plenty of chipping clear coat, but are all true. They fit volvo 240s with no mods. $250 + shipping

Complete 5 speed M47 transmission set up from a 1989 Volvo 240. Comes with everything you need to change an automatic 240 into a 5 speed. Transmission, bellhousing, LH2.4 flywheel, pedal cluster, driveshaft, transmission crossmember, etc. The transmission shifts OK, I daily drove the car for 4 years without transmission issues, but it does have 200k+ miles on it so its not perfect. The u-joints and driveshaft carrier bearing have been replaced within the last 2 years. I think I might have replaced the guibo too, but I can't remember for sure. Clutch is of unknown condition. It has never slipped, but thats one of those while-you're-in-theres you should be changing if you're putting this in a car anyways. $350 + shipping

Affordable Bender Tubing Bender with 1.75" Die. Brand new, never used.
I was going to use it to build a roll cage but accidentally bought a built car instead.
This style bender takes up less floor space than the benders that bend the tube horizontally, and they also don't need to be permanently mounted to the floor.
I paid $300 + $50 shipping. SOLD

I also have all the rest of the bits from an '89 Volvo 240. Its just a bare shell so its all in pieces. Engine, rear end, body panels, wiring harness, reinforced control arms, etc.

Any or all of these can be delivered to LSPR with a 50% deposit.

The real fantastic thing about the vertical benders is being able to use a level to measure angles.

I'm planning on getting to LSPR and and bring whatever down to the Detroit area for someone to help you/Carl out.

Thanks, Matt. Alternatively, you could just buy it all from me and give it to your goats as an early christmas present.

FWIW, 5x108 is the bolt circle on my 2012 Focus, as well...

they tend to be non-observant of most holidays. I think it has to do with fear over becoming a holiday meal.

Try Pirate 4x4 for the bender if you haven't already.

Hey Carl!

I should make JVL happy and throw my built SBC in that Volvo!

OH! That would be fun!

The last guy that decided against patient, careful advice on why that is a pointless idea still has not finished his conversion after 2 years...
So all that extra 200+ pounds upsetting the near 50-50 weight balance in the car hasn't yet had any advantage....just expense and time thrown away..

The baffling thing is when he picked up the car and went out to play he said it was the balance of the stock car that surprised and impressed him (after he had built first a POS MR2 and then a FWD Blue thing that we all know work pretty good as AWD, but as FWD have nop particular advantages...And what does he do?
Ruins the near perfect 50/50 weight balance and spends a lot of money (yeah yeah i know "It HIS MONEY, he can spend it however he likes whaaaaa! whaaaaaa! wa wa wa whaaa!. Yes he can but look what he's done)

...still has not finished his [build] after 2 years...
That's kind of the point of building a Volvo or Merkur for stage isn't it? (joke)

Not saying I'm smart! (Ie. I race a car with six cylinders IN FRONT of the lower ball joint)

Would be simple though with the Volvo. Chebby motor, tran, and Ford 9" rear end.

Even simpler not to.
And cheaper, too.
(I'm sooooooooooo sick of people ruining nice cars by cramming in priomative 525lb+ cast iron junk, and sick of hearing how they make power POOOORLY unless you spend time and money and buy a lot of parts-. You want a 'merikan V8 powered car? get one.)
