Since rain has affected all 3 of our RallyCross events in Texas this spring and even cancelled last week's event, we have found an all weather site. It is at the Motor Sport Ranch in Cresson on June 22. Stay tuned for further information.:)

Motorsport Ranch just south of Cresson Texas which is south of Fort Worth. Prairie grass surface with rocks popping up now and them. Set up starts at 7 or so. Registration opens around 9 and first car out at 10 or 11. I just haul the equipment, layout the course and time all the cars. So don't ask for too many details on when. Check the website at texassca.org

Remember, this is a RallyCross so for a 4 hour tow, you will get at least 4 minutes of track time. But because this is being held at the Motorsport Ranch on the same weekend as a Maverick region diver education event, you might be able to finagle some paved track time also. Check out pca.org and find the Maverick region site. Just remember that rich 911 owners get upset when a Beatle posts better track time than they do. Seriously, it might be good exposure.

I guess neither the Bug nor I will be there after all. I've found no one in this neck of the woods interested in going, haven't been able to entice any prospective sponsors there in the hopes of bedazzling them with the program and then found out that my youngest, Heather, is testing for her next belt in Tae Kwon Do Saturday. So 8+ hours of towing/driving and missing my daughter's test just don't add up in exchange for a few rallycross runs ... Sorry.

Have fun though!

My feelings exactly. Unless you can get a sponsor appearance worked with the RallyCross, it is not worth a long tow. Lots of fun though!

16 entrants. Total of 6 runs each. Good fast course. Highly amusing to the Porsche people. I have no idea who actually won. Or who was really there except that every one who was there pitched in and helped with set up and tear down. THANKS! :-)
